The following financial policies will apply to all students of all programs:

Refund policy:

  1. Refund of tuition fees will be based on submission of withdrawal within the stipulated time frame of two weeks for a regular semester and one week for Summer semester. To request a refund in case of excess payment, the student must make an application to the Finance & Accounting Office.

  2. Where a student is asked to withdraw ECMIT as a result of a disciplinary action, unused tuition fees will not be refunded. 

Financial Aid

ECMIT recognizes the financial investment students and families make when enrolling in college and take a personal approach to helping them plan to meet the costs of attending college. Financial aid has two main categories:

  1. Scholarships

  2. Tuition discounts

Scholarships

A limited number of scholarships are available which are distributed to entering students based on their academic performance in the high school as follows:

  1. Students who have scored 80-85% in the High School Certificate will receive 5% of the total tuition fee of the first semester.

  2. Students who have scored 86-89 % in the High School Certificate will receive 10 % of the total tuition fee of the first semester.

  3. Students who have scored 90% and above in the High School Certificate will receive 15 % of the total tuition fee of the first semester.

The scholarship is valid for the first entering semester only, and it may be extended based on the academic performance at ECMIT and by the decision of the ECMIT Scholarship Committee.

Tuition Discounts

ECMIT allows tuition fee discounts under certain conditions as follows:

  1. If more than one child of the same parents study at ECMIT, one child pays the full tuition fee and the rest receive(s) a 10% discount each on the tuition fees.

  2. Students paying the entire semester tuition fees in one payment will get a discount of 9.06%.

  3. Students who preregisters in time will get a 3% discount on the semester tuition fees.

Students claiming multiple discounts will be entitled for the which has the highest discount.
