Dr. D. Kinslin

Chair of General Education

Dr. D. Kinslin is an Assistant Professor in ECMIT with rich academic, research and long administrative experience. He started his career in ICICI Bank and he has been a passion for teaching and research. Hence he turned successively to academics with over 17 years of teaching and Research experience. He served as Chair, Department of Business Administration & Commerce, Further; he chaired the Faculty of Management Studies. He holds a Master Degree in Business, a Master of Philosophy Degree in Strategic Management, a PG Diploma in Co-operative Management and a Doctorate in Business Management. He has cleared the State Eligibility Test (SET) in Commerce & Management.

His research interests are in the areas of Strategic Management / Financial Management/ Human Resource Management and Supply chain Management. He guided 6 Ph.D. Scholars in Management & 21 M.Phil. scholars in Business and Management. Presently he is guiding 7 Ph.D. He has published More than 70 papers in leading National, International Journals and Magazines. To his credit he has published 23 Research Papers in SCOPUS Indexed Journals with in the last three years. He has been organizing six International Conferences sponsored by IEEE and other Professional Bodies and conducted number of FDP Programs, workshops and seminars. He has taken part many International conferences, workshops and FDP program.

He also served in various capacities as Member of University Academic Council, Member of Planning and Monitoring Board, Deputy Director – HRM, Chairman Boards of Studies. Moreover, he functioned as the Chairman and member in the Doctoral Committee for Ph.D. Programs, NICHE, MSU, VIT, VUT etc. He evaluated a number of Ph.D. thesis in Management and conducted the Public Viva-Voice Examinations. He acted as resource person in various the international & national conferences, seminars and workshops. Key Competencies: Consulting in Organization Development & Performance Improvement/Institution Building, Strategic HRM and Management education and development gained in India and overseas will be helpful to the ECMIT and students community.
